In a group of 6, we investigated a chair of our choice – a bus seat. We all had our own roles, mine was to be the researcher. I explored the possibilities of the chairs life before it found it’s way to us – I discovered it once resided on a route in Thornton Heath, London, riding the route 64. Whilst investigating, I experimented with the dirt that passengers had left behind by taking swabs and growing spores in petri dishes and taking finger print and fibre samples using dust and tape.
My meticulous probing reminded me of the title sequences for Se7en and American Horror Story, so my final outcome was a Kyle-Cooper-esque montage of all the data I had collected, accompanied by some ticket style type and creepy crawlies from my garden (to add a little more horror!)
